Why is my Coffee cloudy after brewing?

Hmm .. my first thought is there may be limescale or mineral build up on the inside of the coffee maker. Try brewing a pot of half white vinegar and half water followed by a couple pot of plain water to remove the vinegar smell. It will clean the insides out and hopefully whatever is causing your coffee to be cloudy.

Why does tea get cloudy?

This is caused by precipitation of the tannins in the tea. They are in solution at the higher temperatures, but as the tea cools they are forced out of solution. All of those little solid bits make the tea look cloudy. The richer the tea is in tannins, the more likely it is to do this (e.g. high-quality black teas brewed for a long time).
