Luckily, for those who can’t wait, there’s an answer: Flash brew. Flash brewing is a method where you intentionally chill coffee as fast as possible in order to create a drink over ice without sacrificing the flavors of the brew. Flash brewed coffee — also known as Japanese-style iced coffee — is brewed in a Chemex just like hot coffee.
